Wooden Straw

Haruna, a determined employee at Aucent Homes, excels in sales due to her tenacity. She’s reassigned to the PR department led by Okuzawa Toko, known for being respected but feared. Participating in an event, Haruna realizes her company’s role in promoting environmental goals beyond home building. A heavy rain triggers her childhood trauma of losing her home to a landslide. At an event, she learns about the importance of proper forest management to prevent disasters. She conceives the idea of recycled wooden straws, facing opposition internally, particularly from Toko. Despite challenges, Haruna persists driven by her desire to prevent others’ suffering. The story unfolds as she navigates obstacles to make wooden straws a reality.
